VG Valiant Pacer 2.8 What?!!

Valiant VG Pacer Beer

And now for something completely different. While wandering around the local bottlo my nearest and dearest stumbled across this six pack. No no no, not the 6 pack Valiant, the 6 pack of Pacer 2.8%. Beer that is. Now we all know that Aussie Valiant Pacers were fitted with the Aussie Hemi 6 right? Aaaand they never had a 2.8 fitted. Ever. But, move ahead some 45+ years and you can buy a Pacer Beer 2.8 Pale Ale. Sweet. And as the pack says. Pace yourself.

Ok so to go with the beer, we have the Trax 1/43 scale diecast model of the 1970 VG Valiant Pacer. Check back soon for a full post on the VG Pacer, I also plan to publish a post about the VF Pacer and maybe even the VG Regal. So look out for those.

As an aside, I dont really mind if you use my pictures, but if you plan to use them for marketing purposes, then dont.  I dont sell anything on this website and I do it for the love of it and the fun of it. So dont use my photos so you can make money. If you plan to. Ask me first. So to you who have taken my photos and used them so you can sell your products. Have some manners and ask first. Thanks.

Mitsubishi Pajero New South Wales Police Vehicle 1/43 Scale

Mitsubishi Pajero NSW Police Vehicle

Hello and welcome again to Doogies Diecast blog. In this post we have a 1/43 diecast model of a New South Wales (Australia) Police Force Mitsubishi Pajero. I have seen a few NSW Police Pajeros but every one has been white in colour and I dont know much about the reasoning behind this model other than it is perhaps based on a fleet test vehicle of some sort before they took to the Pajeros in numbers. I am only speculating, if you know better please contact me. Any info would be appreciated.

The Pajero, like any other Mitsubishi is a durable vehicle and I can see why the NSW Police would use them. The one modelled here is a GLX badged vehicle. In fact, this is a very well done model by Vitesse. It is one of only 999 and I think if you search around you will be able to find one and you wont pay the proverbial arm and leg for it either. Enjoy the pictures and please leave a comment.
